Combinations of the best raw materials come together in our sails, flat laminated, joined with two-component binders and then subjected to extremely high pressures to obtain a unique result and great performance.

The fibers are wetted with the binder only superficially, remaining dry inside and soft to the folds.
The effectiveness of two-component binders allows to obtain great performances with minimum quantities. The weight of the sail is reduced and the process, no longer sensitive to temperature, is irreversible.
The bonding process, differently from the thermoplastic processes, is no longer reversible.
Powerful pumps suck the air between the two suitably sealed fiber skins.
We use variable temperature lamps only to liquefy the binder, not to activate it. The lamps cover the entire height of the laminating table so as to heat the laminate uniformly without stress. Fibers react differently to temperature: Dyneema for example alters its properties already at 80°.
Rubberized and ballasted rollers eliminate residual air, create an overpressure of up to 90tons/ m2 and compact the layers allowing large accumulations of fiber in the areas of greatest stress. Overpressure is an essential factor for the lamination of Dyneema fiber in MEMBRANES.
Fundamental to obtain the perfect monolithic composite avoiding alterations caused by 3D thermoformed laminations. In the case of fibers such as Dyneema this post-cure phase can last even several days.
It allows not only the repeatability of winning shapes but also the perfect symmetry of the sail on starboard and port tacks. The sail is in fact independent of the lamination direction.
